New Delhi, April 27 (IANS) In the eighth incident in April of sexual assault on a minor girl in the capital, a man attempted to rape a four-and-half-year-old girl, police said. The child, whose parents live in the capital’s Mangolpuri area, was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where psychiatrists were trying to elicit information from her about the incident, according to the police.

He later said the medical examination confirmed it was an attempt to rape.
