New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS) A man has been arrested for allegedly raping his daughter in front of his wife at their Pitampura house in northwest Delhi seven years ago, police said Saturday.
The victim, who works as an accountant, said she was raped while in an unconscious state by her father Naresh Kumar Sharma, 51, seven years ago when she was 15.

The police registered a case against Sharma, who works in a multinational company in Gurgaon, and arrested him Friday.

”The victim came to us before with complaints about her father. But this is the first time she has levelled such serious allegations against him. The family had a lot of problems beforehand. We have arrested Sharma,” a police officer said.

”The victim alleged that her father druged her and then raped her in front of her mother. We are yet to interrogate her mother,” the officer added.

The police said the 22-year-old victim complained about harassment by her family. She also alleged that her father used to take away her monthly salary.
