Man abducted, shot dead in Ghaziabad
May 24th, 2010 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, May 24 (IANS) A man was abducted and shot dead in Ghaziabad, police said Monday.
The body was found in a village in Badalpur police station area of Greater Noida.
The police said Ashok Yadav, 27, a resident of Sarvodaya Nagar, Ghaziabad, was abducted when he was on his way to his father-in-law’s house in Bamheta locality under Kavi Nagar police station, bordering Greater Noida.
He was shot dead by unidentified men and his body thrown into an agricultural field in a nearby village in Greater Noida.
The police have sent the body for post-mortem and begun a probe but made no arrests so far.
