Kuala Lumpur, May 19 (IANS) A youth who “broke into a house” was arrested by police, not for theft, but for sleeping with the house owner’s daughter. According to the Sunday weekly Metro Ahad, residents in Teluk Intan in Perak state saw a teenager getting off his motorcycle behind a house and climbing over the fence.

Suspecting a robbery, residents contacted the police who surrounded the house and ordered the 19-year-old to surrender.

They entered the premises when they failed to get a response from the teenager, only to see through a window that he was sleeping with the 19-year-old daughter of the house owner.

Police arrested both and referred them to the Perak Islamic Department for further action.

A housewife, 36, last week lodged a police complaint that a man who had broken into her house, lay naked beside her in bed.

She woke up thinking it was her husband. She became suspicious when he spoke to her, his face covered with his T-shirt.

The woman strode to another room and found her husband fast asleep. When she screamed for help, the thief gathered his clothes and things he had stolen and jumped out of the house, said the police.
