Maharashtra petrol pump looted of Rs.30 lakh
June 28th, 2010 - 5:18 pm ICT by IANSSolapur (Maharashtra), June 28 (IANS) Two unidentified men Monday looted a petrol pump of Rs.30 lakh in Maharashtra’s Solapur district, police said.
The Bharat Petroleum petrol pump on Solapur-Bijapur Road in Mandrup village was looted early morning. “We have found clues that lead us to men within the village,” Mandrup Police Station sub-inspector Sampat Pawar said.
“Cash amounting to Rs.30 lakh and a mobile phone were looted by the two men. Their faces were covered and one of them had a gun,” he said.
