Magistrate thrashed in club, four arrested
November 19th, 2009 - 8:56 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Ghaziabad, Nov 19 (IANS) A sub-divisional magistrate was allegedly beaten up by revellers when he objected to loud music they were playing in a club here, police said Thursday.
Vishal Singh, posted in Gautam Budh Nagar, was beaten up by a group of men who insisted on playing blaring music. The incident took place Wednesday night at Windsor Park in Indirapuram.
Police said they had arrested four of the attackers — Narendra Chaudhary, Mahesh Verma, Sandep Nagar and Pradeep Singh — and were hunting for several more people.
