Madras High Court stays screening of ‘Ghajini’

Chennai, Dec 23 (IANS) The Madras High Court Tuesday stayed the release of Aamir Khan-starrer Hindi film “Ghajini”, that hits the screens Thursday.Justice T.R. Shiva Kumar granted the stay on a plea by A. Chandrasekharan, the producer of the original Tamil film of the same name, on which the Hindi remake is based.
The court has granted leave for appeal. The court is going on winter vacation from Wednesday and will meet after the new year.
