Madonna plans London gig during Olympics

London, Oct 30 (IANS) Pop singer Madonna is planning to stage a massive gig in Hyde Park here in the middle of the Olympics, next summer.
The Olympics are scheduled to take place July 27 July-Aug 12, 2012.
The 53-year-old singer is planning to treat as many as 60,000 fans with the performance, reports thesun.co.uk.
“Madonna is planning a huge comeback and was determined to do it at Hyde Park while the Olympics are on. She’s been out of the limelight musically for a while but is ready to jump back into the saddle and thinks there’s no better time to do it than when London hosts the Olympics,” said a source.
Madonna has so far, sold more than 300 million records worldwide and amassed a fortune of more than 400 million pounds.
She recently announced she would be releasing releasing a 12th studio album. She had also said that the follow up to her 2008 album “Hard Candy” will be “more good music”.
