Madhya Pradesh to probe death threats to legislator

Bhopal, Feb 29 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani Friday directed the state government to probe the alleged death threats received by newly elected Samajwadi Party legislator Kishor Samirte. Rohani also asked the government to provide adequate security to Samirte, who has been elected from Lanji constituency in Maoist-hit Balaghat district.

Samajwadi Party leader Sunilam raised the issue when the question hour began, urging the government to provide more security to the legislator.
