Madhya Pradesh ex-official faces sexual harassment case
November 27th, 2011 - 5:57 pm ICT by IANSBhopal, Nov 27 (IANS) A sexual harassment case has been lodged against a retired deputy collector in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh on the complaint of his daughter-in-law, police said Sunday.
Geetanjali, the complainant, has submitted a mobile phone video clip as a proof of her complaint.
Along with retired deputy collector Raghunandan Gautam, Geetanjali, wife of Akhilesh Gautam, has also made her brother-in-law Kaushal Gautam a co-accused in the case.
“On her complaint, the case has been registered against the two under section 354 of Indian Penal Code (assault or criminal force against a woman with intent to outrage her modesty),” Dilip Yadav, in-charge of City Kotwali, told IANS.
