Madhya Pradesh engineer has Rs.10 crore assets
January 7th, 2012 - 11:43 pm ICT by IANSBhopal, Jan 7 (IANS) After seizing several crores-worth of unaccounted assets from peons, clerk and engineers in 2011, the Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta Saturday raided the premises of an engineer and found he had assets worth over Rs.10 crore, officials said.
The Lokayukta police raided houses of Assistant Engineer R.L. Yadav, working in the tribal development department, in Chhindwara and Indore.
The two teams of Lokayukta led by Superintendent of Police Virendra Singh unearthed two bungalows in Indore, four land plots in Morena as well as in Indore, and two luxury cars along with cash and gold in their raid on Yadav’s premises.
