Luke Conley In ‘More To Love’: Love Is ‘On’ The Air

more-to-loveFox’s latest offering to join the ranks of other reality dating shows where television plays Cupid, is one which is all set to prove, that big may be beautiful after all. Aiming for a refreshing departure from the rest of the specimens of the genre, that showcase Barbie-Ken prototypes vying for the attention of yet another picture perfect movie-star look-alike, this show takes a slightly different view of the matters of the heart.

The show centers around the romantic escapades of plus-sized Luke Conley, a 26 year-old former college football offensive lineman, who while being 6ft 3” also happens to weigh a whole 320 pounds. A successful sub-contractor and real estate investor, who’s on the look-out for a long lasting relationship, Luke is projected as the guy-next-door who has no reservations about finding true love in a full-bodied woman, provided that she is intelligent, down-to-earth and passionate and comfortable being who she is.

This dreamy attempt at finding true text-book love that is free from lookist prejudices, finds 20 women of all shapes, sizes and descriptions competing for the attentions and romantic affections of the eligible bachelor in question, in course of the series episodes. The show goes all out to prove, that size really does matter in an all together positive way, with their actually being ‘more to love’ than mere superficialities.

The premiere episode that aired yesterday, holds promise for the following episodes to get better still, with expected ratings that would hopefully validate the brand new concept of true love scoring over cosmetic perfection. Apparently then, love does happen to be ‘on’ the air, this time around.
