Love for woman leads to murder
September 19th, 2011 - 9:39 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 19 (IANS) Two men have been arrested here for killing a colleague whose wife one of the killers wanted to wed, police said Monday.
Guddu Kumar, 27, and Raju Kumar, 21, were arrested from Anand Vihar in east Delhi Sunday, Additional Commissioner of Police V. Renganathan said.
Guddu Kumar wanted to marry Munni Devi, wife of Janardhan. He teamed up with Raju Kumar, a cousin of the woman who too nursed a grudge against the victim.
The duo killed Janardhan at Moti Nagar in west Delhi Sep 13, hitting his head with a brick. Ironically, it was a complaint filed by Munni Devi that led to their arrest.
