Lisa Myrick Passes Away At 47, Possibly Owing To Substance Abuse

GEORGIA, Nov. 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS), There are some celebrities and media persons who fall from grace, only to ruin their prosperous career giving in to the distractions of alcohol and sex. Those who get into drug addiction or substance abuse fare worse than others. The residents of Oklahoma City were sad to learn that Lisa Myrick, their popular Radio jockey, died in Georgia recently. She was only 47 at the time of her death and it is still not clear what brought her untimely death but it is suspected that she expired due to excessive substance abuse.
Myrick worked in a number of radio stations among which, one was BOB FM. Everywhere she worked, she became popular with the listeners due to her personality and hosting skills. However, the down-slide in her carer came when she was working in BOB FM. It was at that time, that she started taking drugs. She was aware of its effects in her life but apparently could not resist the temptation. She said in a statement, that once she had injected enough drugs in her system, to keep her intoxicated for a whole week. After that incident she called in to resign from her job.
The family is heart broken at her demise and her father said in his statement, that his daughter went to sleep only to succumb to death. The other members of her family have also expressed their grief saying that they are sorry for loosing her forever. They also said that her tragic death will serve as a lesson for those who have given in to drug addiction and alcohol consumption.
