New York, Aug 28 (IANS) Hollywood actor Lindsay Lohan has hit back at her father Michael Lohan on her MySpace blog for the comments he made on her girlfriend DJ Samantha Ronson.The issue sparked off after Michael’s claims Wednesday that Ronson was dating his daughter to boost her fame and sell copies of her reported new book, reports thesun.co.uk.

“He (her father) has become a public embarrassment and a bully to my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me. He has no idea what is going on in my life because I have chosen not to involve him in it,” Lohan posted.

The blog further read: “His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an addiction that he has - fame. If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.”

Lohan also pledged her support for Sam before casting another dig at her dad and added: “Samantha Ronson has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.”

Following Lohan, Ronson too waded in with a few punches on her MySpace blog, labelling Michael “desperate” and “out of control”.

“He is so desperate for attention that he goes to the media whenever possible,” she posted.
