London, Sep 9 (IANS) Canadian singer Avril Lavigne says her favourite place to perform is Britain because the fans here are more enthusiastic.Lavigne also said that her fans in Europe are more responsive than her fans in the US.

Ananova.com reports her saying: “Crowds over here tend to be way more insane. I don’t know what it is but in Europe everyone is so up for it. I always have a great time because the crowds are just there to enjoy it.”

Lavigne says that she is her own inspiration.

She said: “I have a smile on my face the whole time. I write my songs just for me, about what pleases me and what I’m feeling. I have my own style that happens to be different from everyone else in Hollywood. My inspiration is me.”
