Larsen and Toubro bags Rs.1,937 crore order from GVK Group
February 6th, 2012 - 5:10 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Feb 6 (IANS) Larsen and Toubro (L&T;) Monday said it has bagged an order worth Rs.1,937 crore from the GVK Group for four-laning of a highway in Madhya Pradesh.
The widening of a major portion of Shivpuri-Dewas section of National Highway 3 totalling 235 km is to be completed in 27 months, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The project is part of the fourth phase of the National Highways Development Programme and one of the three mega projects of the National Highways Authority of India.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company were up 1.67 percent to trade at Rs.1,376.30 towards the closing.
