Labourer killed in factory accident
December 22nd, 2011 - 1:28 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 21 (IANS) A 31-year-old labourer was killed when he accidentally got inside a machine at a plastic factory in the capital, police said Wednesday.
Anil, who hails from Bihar, was working at the factory situated at Narela for last few years. “He was handling a machine which makes plastic. Tuesday evening, all of a sudden his colleagues heard a loud noise and a scream. They saw his hands and shoulder stuck in the machine. They shut the machine and took him out,” said a senior police official.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Anil, who resides at a room in the factory itself, was working there for last few years.
A case has been registered against the factory owner and the supervisor. The family members of Anil in Bihar have been informed.
