Labourer falls from fourth floor, dies

Noida, April 2 (IANS) A 22-year-old worker died after falling from the fourth floor of an under-construction school building in Noida Thursday, according to the deceased’s family.
Phool Chand had a nearly 40-foot fall at 9.15 a.m. when some of the bricks on which he was standing slipped below his feet. He remained bleeding and wreathing in pain for nearly two hours, the family said.

His co-workers took him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

His body was sent for an autopsy.

The workers at the construction site of JP Group protested against the company management.

A complaint was filed against the management and the contractor at the Sector-39 police station.
