Chandan was arrested and presented before the Barasat district court Feb 17 and remanded in police custody for 14 days.
“Chandan was brought to the CID headquarters Bhawani Bhavan Saturday for interrogation, where his statement was also recorded. Later in the evening, Rinku was also brought to Bhawani Bhavan for identification of Chandan,” said Sharma.
