Knew Team Anna had political ambitions: Congress
August 3rd, 2012 - 6:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 3 (IANS) A day after Team Anna announced its plans to float a party, the Congress Friday said it had been saying that the political nature of the anti-corruption campaign would soon surface.
“We had been saying this right from day one that the implicit political aspirations of the Team Anna would manifest itself,” Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari told reporters.
The Congress has been saying that the Team Anna was not as apolitical or as unaligned as it looked to be, he added.
