Kids to present demands to president

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) A 10-day yatra organised by a group of 36 children, nine of them physically-challenged, culminated in the capital Sunday. The children will now present their demands on issues like gender, education and health to President Pratibha Patil.
Under the banner of Nau Kadam Yatra, a part of Nine is My Campaign organised by NGO Wada Na Todo Abhiyan, these children have been mobilising public support and opinion for the cause of health, children living in conflict zones and disability.
These children, along with a group of 450 children from here, will present their demands specific to Delhi to Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Monday.
