Khar to visit Ajmer Thursday
July 27th, 2011 - 11:46 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 27 (IANS) Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will visit the Sufi pilgrim centre of Ajmer in Rajasthan Thursday, official sources said.
Khar will leave New Delhi Thursday morning by a special flight to Jaipur. From there she will proceed to Ajmer to pay obeisance at the mausoleum of Sufi saint Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti, the sources added.
The shrine, dedicated to the Sufi saint who came to Ajmer from Persia in 1192, attracts thousands of pilgrims throughout the year.
On return to Jaipur after the pilgrimage, Khar will fly to Islamabad.
The foreign minister arrived in New Delhi Tuesday on a three-day official visit.
