Kozhikode, Feb 24 (IANS) One of the 25 Indian crewmembers onboard the ship MV Rezzak, missing in the Black Sea, is from Kerala. Mahendra Gopalakrishna Menon, a 52-year-old engineer with the Panama-registered ship missing since Monday, is from Meenangadi in Wayanad district, about 100 km east of here, according to local media reports.

An official at the Meenangadi police station said, “We have also come to know about the incident and there is also information that Menon belongs to this place. However, we can’t confirm this information as we could not locate his family or relatives here.”
