Keith Richards voted favourite Rolling Stones member
September 12th, 2008 - 1:14 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, Sep 12 (IANS) Keith Richards has been voted favourite Rolling Stones member in a poll conducted by the site www.iorr.org.According to contactmusic.com, more than 6,000 fans took part in the poll that sought to find the best things about the band. Richards garnered almost 50 percent of the votes and lead singer Mick Jagger surprisingly got just 28 percent. Co-founder Charlie Watts received nine percent of the vote.
Their album “Exile on Main Street” was voted top album and “Gimme Shelter” top song.
