London, Jan 18 (IANS) British supermodel Kate Moss’ 35th “noisy” birthday bash disturbed her neighbours so much that they were compelled to call the police twice in a row.Dailyamil.co.uk reports, the police came twice during the night following complaints and Camden Council anti-noise patrols asked for the music to be turned down at her house.

“Several of us complained. It was just so uncomfortable. I had to take the kids to another bedroom because of the noise. I phoned the council to complain,” said a 51-year-old neighbour, whose three babies could not sleep because of the noise.

Another resident said: “I went to bed at midnight, but couldn’t get to sleep because the music from the house was so loud. Even with double-glazing, it was echoing around the bedroom.

“All my family were trying to get to sleep so I complained to the council. They turned up just before 1 a.m. and the music was turned down, but as soon as they (the police) left, it went up again and went on until gone 7 a.m.,” he explained.

Moss’ actual birthday was Jan 16, but the celebrations started the previous day with a nine-hour drinking session at the China Tang restaurant in Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair.

The birthday bash is expected to continue until Monday morning at a different location.
