Kalmadi’s bail plea deferred to May 21
May 16th, 2011 - 5:43 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 16 (IANS) The bail plea of Suresh Kalmadi, former Commonwealth Games organising committee chairman and Congress MP, was postponed to May 21 by a court here Monday.
Kalmadi is in judicial custody for alleged financial irregularities in the preparations for the mega-event in October 2010. He is accused of conspiring to give the contract for Timing Scoring and Result (TSR) equipment to a Swiss company at exorbitant rates.
