November 5th, 2011 - 2:34 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS) Inspired by a Bollywood flick, a juvenile kidnapped his former employer’s son for ransom in west Delhi. But, just like in the film, his plan too flopped as he was arrested within two hours.
The 16-year-old accused had kidnapped Subhash Kumar’s four-year-old son, Keshav, Nov 3. At 10.30 p.m., he called up Subhash and asked him to drop Rs. one lakh near the Kail Mata temple in west Delhi’s Khyala village.
“We reached the spot and a quick surveillance revealed the kidnapper hiding behind a car with the abducted boy. We arrested him from the spot,” said a police official.
According to police, the accused was inspired by the flick– “Chor Machaye Shor” in which the actor abducts girl for ransom.
He said that he needed money for construction of his house in his village in Bihar.
