New Delhi, Aug 5 (IANS) Shooting for his first full-fledged action film “Force” is proving to be injurious for John Abraham as the actor has already suffered 282 bruises, seven broken bones and innumerable scratches during the shoot.

“Force”, directed by Nishikanth Kamath, boasts of adrenaline pumping action sequences.

It has John with several physical injuries as the actor refused to use a body double.

According to sources, the film’s production unit started maintaining a log book for all action sequences and people who performed it. The tally is said to have shocked everyone in the unit.

“Force” is a remake of Gautham Menon’s successful 2003 Tamil film “Kaakha Kaakha”.

John plays a cop in the film which also stars Genelia D’Souza. It is slated to release Sept 16.

Birthday wishes for Kajol, Genelia

Bollywood actors Kajol and Genelia D’Souza, who celebrate their birthday Friday, received wishes from tinsel town through social networking site Twitter.

While Kajol turned 37, Genelia touched 24.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, whose directorial debut “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, and several subsequent films featured Kajol, posted: “Its KAJOLS birthday!!! She’s not on twitter…but give her love people…she is truly special!! The best actress…and a woman of substance!”

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli, who worked with her in “Fanaa”, wrote: “Let’s all wish Kajol a very happy bday, truly one of the best and most talented actresses we’ve ever had. An all time great.”

Genelia celebrated her birthday on the sets of “Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya”, with co-star and rumoured beau Riteish Deshmukh and the crew of the film.

Riteish wished her on Twitter, saying: “Here’s wishing my most favourite @geneliad a very happy birthday. The smile of her face is d reason everyone on d sets is smiling - including me 9 yrs ago v celebrated @geneliad’s bday on the sets of our debut film TMK (’Tujhe Meri Kasam’) n today on d sets of TNLHG- feels like yesterday- have a great one girl (sic).”

Others like Minissha Lamba, Siddharth, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rana Daggubati wished the young actress, who made her debut with “Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na”.

Rana only busy with ‘Naa Ishtam’, ‘Department’

Southern actor Rana Daggubati’s spokesperson has shot down reports that he has signed up for any movie opposite actress Kangana Ranaut.

“Rana is currently working on the Telugu film ‘Naa Ishtam’ with Genelia D’Souza and Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Department’. Contrary to reports that have been doing the rounds, these are the only two films he is working on at the moment. Reports suggesting otherwise are just rumours,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

If grapevine is to be believed, the actor had been roped in to feature opposite Kangana in a love story titled “Kris and Suri”.
