Jet Airways starts its daily flight to Dubai
August 23rd, 2008 - 9:32 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Aug 23 (IANS) Jet Airways Saturday commenced its daily flight from Mumbai to Dubai. This is Jet’s 20th international destination.The first flight Airbus-300/200 took off at 6.30 p.m. from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Terminus here Saturday.
Dubai will be the sixth destination in the airline’s Gulf network and the second in UAE.
Jet chief operational officer Sudhir Raghavan said: “Dubai is one of the most exciting cities in the world which has traditionally been a very popular business environment and daily destination, and the demand for premium service on the competitive India-Dubai circle remains high.”
To commemorate its maiden foray into Dubai, the airline has introduced special return and one-way economy class fares of Rs.11,495 and Rs.8,000 respectively, and return premier fares of Rs.24,940 on all its services to Dubai.
