Jealous man kills successful younger brother
May 20th, 2011 - 10:39 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 20 (IANS) A man has been arrested for killing his younger brother after becoming jealous of his business success, police said Friday.
“Arshad grew jealous on his younger brother Shadab as the latter was favoured by the family because of his success so he decided to murder him,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Jain said.
“Their father was taking more interest in Shadab’s business as he was well-off, whereas Arshad’s business’ was not doing well, so his deep-rooted grudge and jealousy was the reason behind the murder as Arshad himself admitted,” Jain added.
Arshad had allegedly hired two carpenters - Adil and Shahzad - who approached him for work to kill his brother.
“As both were jobless and were in need of money, they helped Arshad in killing his brother,” the police officer said.
