Nov. 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) January Jones, mostly known as Betty Draper to the viewers of ‘Mad Men’, appeared on Nov 14, as the hostess of the show “Saturday Night Live’. The Golden-globe nominee was invited to host the season’s sixth episode, which aired at 11.35 P.M ET on NBC and shared the episode with music guests Black Eyed Peas.

To promote her show, Jones had earlier released four promos which also featured the other cast members. One of the promo had Jones saying her name in ten altogether different ways, where she revealed her additional skills to her fans. The promos that were filmed with the cast of the show, Fred Armisen and Andy Samberg, had Samberg and Armisen reminiscing with the Black Eyed Peas. Jones, in one of the adverts, talks about joining the hosts whose photographs adorn the walls. This brings on Armisen commenting that the photographs are that of sex offenders. Armisen even mocked her due to her unusual name, though Jones was not offended even a least bit. The audiences are however, confused as to why she was introduced to the show which already aired its season finale.

Januray Jones, was earlier challenged by Jimmy Fallon to fight in a beer-pong game, where she lost 1-5. This even took place, when she had made an appearance on the show, “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on Nov. 11. Her loss may have been disheartening to her, but her fans blogged to show their appreciation for not being a spoil sport. January has been in the news since she went on to announce her association as a spokesperson for Oceana, which works to save endangered sharks.
