Jamia to host sufi programme at Delhi arts festival
December 7th, 2010 - 5:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 7 (IANS) The Jamia Millia Islamia will host a sufi and qawwali programme as part of the Delhi International Arts Festival 2010 being celebrated across the capital Dec 3-12.
Artistes like Nizami Brothers, Ghulam Sabir and Ghulam Warsi would perform at the programme scheduled to take place Dec 10 from 7 p.m. in the university campus.
DIAF is positioned as India’s ‘Signature Festival’ to place Delhi on the international cultural map so that it attracts artistes and writers of art and culture from all over the world.
