Jaffer, Rohit lead Mumbai’s charge in Buchi Babu cricket

Chennai, Sep 11 (IANS) Wasim Jaffer (148) and Rohit Sharma (90) powered Mumbai to 333 all out against Saurashtra in a quarterfinal match of the All-India Buchi Babu Memorial cricket tournament here Thursday. Jaffer’s 217-ball innings was studded with 17 boundaries and one six, while Sharma batted with typical fluency, hitting three sixes and nine boundaries.

Tamil Nadu were 364 for seven in 90 overs against Baroda with Maruthi Raghav hitting 102 and Napoleon Einstein 97.
