New Delhi, Nov 6 (IANS) After Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani questioned United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s silence on corruption, Congress leader Digvijay Singh hit back, asking if Advani suffered from “amnesia”.
Advani, who is on a nationwide anti-corruption yatra, Saturday questioned Gandhi’s silence on major issues like corruption, price rise and black money stashed abroad.
Replying to this, Digvijay Singh asked if Advani was suffering from “amnesia”.
“Advaniji has forgotten Soniaji’s speech in AICC when she spoke against corruption and for the Lokpal,” he posted on micro-blogging site Twitter, referring to the Congress president’s speech in the party meet at Burari last December.
“Age catching up. Amnesia,” Digvijay Singh asked.
