Iran hangs four rapists
October 12th, 2011 - 3:05 pm ICT by IANSTehran, Oct 12 (IANS) Iran Wednesday publicly hanged four men convicted of rapes.
The men who were hanged in public in a park in Khomeini Shahr of Isfahan province were convicted of raping several women in a family party in June, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
Rape, along with some other crimes including drug trafficking, murder, adultery and armed robbery, is subject to death penalty in Iran, reported Xinhua.
