Iran closes border with Pakistan after incident
January 3rd, 2012 - 7:00 pm ICT by IANSTehran, Jan 3 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Iran Tuesday closed its border with Pakistan after Pakistani border guards detained two Iranian military personnel, a media report said.
PakistanToday.com.pk. said three Iranian servicemen were pursuing Pakistani border violators in the Iranian province of Baluchestan and followed them into Pakistani territory.
After the Iranian military personnel crossed into the Pakistani border, two of them were wounded in an exchange of fire reportedly with the intruders, and one died.
The intruders escaped while Pakistani border guards arrested the two Iranians.
