Investigation into temple collapse reveals sermon hall could not withstand weight of 300 students

Reports have confirmed 8 major injuries amongst St. Joseph Convent student’s who were trapped under the collapsed sermon hall of Ang Sila Temple in Chonburi province yesterday. The incident totaled 58 injured students.

Initial investigations revealed that some 300 students were on field trip to the temple and had all crowded into the sermon hall to give alms. The hall supposedly could not withstand the weight of all the students and collapsed.
