Infiltration bid foiled in Kashmir, three militants killed
July 27th, 2009 - 3:07 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Srinagar, July 27 (IANS) Three militants were killed in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district Monday when the army foiled an infiltration bid across the Line of Control (LoC), officials said.
“Three intruding terrorists were killed in the Tangdhar sector of the LoC and the army foiled the infiltration bid,” a defence spokesman said here.
The operation against the intruders is still on.
The LoC divides Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
