India’s first mega food park at Haridwar
February 20th, 2009 - 9:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) India’s first mega food park is to come up at Haridwar in Uttarakhand, yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Yog Peeth said Friday.
The Patanjali Food and Herbal Park will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Food processing Industries Subodh Kant Sahai Feb 25, a press statement said.
The food park is being established in village Padartha on Luxor road. A couple of factories linked to food processing will be started, covering an area of about 95 acres, the statement said.
The central government has given approval to establish 10 such food parks in the country.
