Indian, Pakistani foreign ministers to meet

New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will travel to Islamabad May 21 for talks with his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi. After the talks, the dates for the next round of the “Composite Dialogue” between the two countries will be announced.

The foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan will meet in Islamabad a day earlier — May 20.

This will be Mukherjee’s first visit to Pakistan since a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)-led government took power in March. His last visit was in January 2007.
