Indian Navy plane crashes during air show
March 3rd, 2010 - 1:51 pm ICT by IANSHyderabad, March 3 (IANS) An Indian Navy aircraft crashed during an aerobatic display here Wednesday, officials and witnesses said. The pilot’s fate was not known.
Indian Navy spokesman Commander P.V. Satish confirmed the accident but did not provide details.
Witnesses said they heard a loud boom, after which the plane went down.
A thick cloud of smoke rose to the sky near the Begumpet airport following the accident.
