Indian Haj delegation interacts with pilgrims in Jeddah
November 24th, 2009 - 12:51 pm ICT by IANSJeddah, Nov 24 (IANS) A 25-member Indian Haj goodwill delegation visited this port city of Saudi Arabia and interacted with Haj pilgrims there, expressing their satisfaction with the arrangements made by the Indian Haj mission.
The delegation, which was led by senior Congress leader Saifuddin Soz, reached the Jeddah Haj terminal Sunday. On Monday the delegates visited various accommodations for pilgrims in Mecca and Aziziya.
They also visited the main office of the Indian Haj mission and a 50-bed hospital run by them.
The delegates thereafter met several Haj pilgrims and after enquiring about their wellbeing expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made by the Indian Haj mission.
