Indian equities markets muted in early trade

Mumbai, May 10 (IANS) Indian equities markets Tuesday were trading muted in morning trade with a benchmark index almost unchanged from its previous close.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 18,564.95 points, was ruling at 18,546.75 points, up 17.79 points or 0.1 percent, from its previous close at 18,528.96 points.
The 50-scrip S&P; CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was also trading lacklustre at 5,550.25 points, down 0.02 percent.
Broader markets too were ruling flat.
