‘Indian Army ready for threat from Pakistan spillover’

New Delhi, March 30 (IANS) The Indian Army Monday said it was ready to deal with any “spillover effect” of the terror attack on a police academy in Pakistan.
“Situation in Pakistan is a matter of concern for us. But we are prepared at all times (to deal with) if there is any spillover to this side,” Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Nobel Thamburaj said here.

Terrorists Monday stormed the police academy in Lahore, close to the Wagah border of India, killing 27 people and taking over 800 hostage. Later, the Pakistani security forces stormed the academy, killing four terrorists and capturing three alive.
