New Delhi, Aug 5 (IANS) India wants to share its experience and assistance with other developing nations, President Pratibha Patil said here Thursday.
She was speaking at the credentials presentation ceremony for four new envoys at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The President accepted credentials from Malawi’s Chrissie Chawanje Mughogho, Rwanda’s Williams Nkurunziza, Nicaragua’s Saul Arana Castellon and Czech Republic’s Miloslav Stasek.
“The president said that India is willing to share its experience and knowledge and is engaged in providing training and technical assistance to other developing countries in the context of South-South solidarity,” according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan press release.
Patil also emphasised the need for people-to-people contacts, particularly among the youth, to build linkages for the future.
