India rejects Balochistan charge, says no proof given
July 15th, 2010 - 11:43 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 15 (IANS) Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna Thursday rejected Pakistan’s charge of New Delhi’s alleged role in the unrest in Balochistan, saying not a shred of evidence has been provided by Islamabad to bolster its claim.
“Forget about credible evidence. Till now, not a shred of evidence has been given to the government of India,” Krishna replied when a Pakistani journalist asked about India’s alleged role in the insurgency in Balochistan.
If evidence is provided, the government of India will look into it and will take responsibility for it, Krishna said at a joint media interaction with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi after their wide-ranging discussions here.
