India beat New Zealand in junior Davis Cup

New Delhi, April 22 (IANS) India defeated New Zealand 0-2 in the Asia/Oceania group of the Junior Davis Cup at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) complex here Friday.
Garvit Batra beat Alexander Klintcharon 6-3, 6-1 in an hour-long match before Shaik Abdullah went past a fighting Cameron Norrie 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Now India will play Sri Lanka for 13th-14th place play-off. Sri Lanka defeated Kazakhstan 2-1.
