India 97/2 against New Zealand

Sachin Tendulkar Hyderabad, Aug 23 (IANS) India were 97 for two in their first innings at lunch on the first day of the first Test against New Zealand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, here Thursday.

Sachin Tendulkar and Cheteshwar Pujara were batting on 12 each after opening batsmen Gautam Gambhir (22) and Virender Sehwag (47) gave India a brisk start.
