India, 10 others sign education accord
December 8th, 2010 - 8:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS) India has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with 10 countries for cooperation in the field of education, parliament was informed Wednesday.
“The ministry has signed exclusive exchange programmes in the form of Educational Exchange Programme with 10 countries to strengthen international cooperation in the field of education during the 11th Five Year Plan (2007-2012),” Minister of State for Human Resource Development (HRD) D. Purandeswari said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.
The 10 countries are Botswana, Canada, Chile, Ethiopia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Norway, Oman, Turkmenistan and Vietnam.
